How to change "Entering Power Save Mode" on your laptop ?

To turn off the entering power save mode or change the computer screen inactive period before computer entering power save mode, do the following.

Window 7

  1. Right-click on any empty space on the desktop and select Personalize. 
  2. In the pop-up window, click the "Screen Saver" link.
  3. In the pop-up window, click the "Change power settings" link.
  4. In the pop-up window, click the "Change plan settings" link.
  5. In the pop-up window, change the parameters to what you want them to be. Or click the "Change advanced power settings" link and another pop-up window is open. Select "Display", "Turn off display after", and then click on "Setting:" to change the time.

Window 2000

  1. Click "Start" and open the control panel
  2. Double click "Power Options" and then set the parameters

Window XP

  1. Right-click on any empty space on the desktop and select Properties
  2. In the pop-up window, select the "Screen Saver" tab
  3. Click on the Power button
  4. Change the parameters
